Afghanistan become first team to reach Super Fours of Asia Cup 2022

 

Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets to become the first team to qualify for the Super Fours of Asia Cup 2022. Bowling first, Afghanistan restricted Bangladesh to 127/7 in their 20 overs. They went on to chase the target in 18.3 overs. Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan took three wickets each for Afghanistan, while Najibullah Zadran top-scored with 43*(17).
